Platy help please!!!

Fat or pregnant platy?? Is she is pregnant how much longer do you think until babies?

I have another post too today for a swordtail if u can help with that too

When she is ready, she will have her babies. Have you any floating plants, floating plants make these fish more relaxed. It will help your swordtail as well.

FYI im a complete newbie. I started the hobby about 4 months ago. so I'm not sure if im reading too much into it.

if the platy is pregnant, what is the time scale from this picture to birth?

in the tank I have 3 females and 3 males. I also have 8 Danios and 2 jumbo orandas. my obvious concern is the fish especially the gold fish eating the fry.

ive just bought a second fish tank (25L) to move the female into that tank to give birth. when should I do this if pregnant?

At this point it's hard to tell how long she's still to go if she's indeed pregnant. But if she is, she's still got some time ahead. But from the pictures you've shown, this lady seems to have a very good bodyshape. She's not bloated. This is also the shape she should have when not pregnant.

Well, like I've already mentioned before, she does look like a normal shaped female to me. Also at my place, non-pregnant females of this kind of platy are shaped like her.
