After my poor platy passed away, I happened to take closer look at him before I disposed of his body. I noticed then that there was a large red spot on his stomach, which kind of looked to me like internal bleeding, or an explosion of a blood vessel of some kind.
I was away for much the whole day, so I didn't notice how ill he was (and he tend to keep to himself unlike all my other fish who are always clamouring for attention), until a few hours ago, but by the time I had dinner and came back, he'd slipped away.
I realise now that this was an ulcer.
My question is, how should I treat the rest of my tank now? I don't want to run the risk of any parasites or infections getting to them as well.
Please and thankyou!
