There are those fake plastic plants that you put around your home (ex. ontop of a cabinet etc) and this particular one has many many many leaves that would look amazing and cover almost all the bottom of my tank. Its make of sort of silky material, more so plastic, and is green with some white etc. Has anyone ever used this in your aquarium, because I wonder if the paint or plastic is toxic to fish.

Not sure about the one you've got but the 'fake' plants that I've got in my house have metal in the plastic stalks to hold the plant upright so I wouldn't chance putting them in my aquarium.

hmmm....
plastic generally is fine in an aquarium as far as im aware.
however the paint im not so sure of.....i dont think it would be worth the risk. a better option would be fake plants designed for aquariums or real plants:)
