Plants

Several of the easy to grow low light plants are readily available. They include anubias, java fern, java moss and cryptocorynes. The anubias and java fern will die if they are planted with their rhizome covered so it is safer to tie the rhizome to a piece of wood or a tank ornament. Cryptocorynes are notorious for "crypt melt" which means that all of the leaves will fall off the plant. When that happens it just takes a bit of patience and knowing that they will usually sprout new leaves in a few weeks. It would be best to find a knowledgeable plant person at the LFS, if there is such a person, and ask which low light plants they have.

Thanks. Will speak to the guy at the pet shop and see if he knows which ones might be the best for me.
Anyone any ideas on the light unit problem? There were stckers on the light unit at one time but over time they have got wet and you cant read them any more. I've been on theJuwel web site but the dimensions of the tank don't seem to match up with the ones they have on there. I've sent them an E-Mail but as yet have had no reply.
