Alright, can you guys give me a list of plants you use when breeding. I want to get well planted tank for the breeding when I start it. I will be using Java Moss, but what about other plants?

Java Moss itself will do just fine, though Hornwort it good too. It floats, which can become a base for bubble nests or for the fry to hide in. I've also heard of others using Elodea. You can just get a water plant package off of some sellers on eBay. Hope I helped. :D

I use ONE nice size big leafed silk plant and it gets the job done. Of course don't use silk if you're trying to make infusoria :good: . Agree with lisie java moss is best as far as live goes.

I have java moss (big ball of it), java fern, ludwigia (i think that's it), and an amazon sword in my fry spawn/growout tank right now! They all seem to like the plants and it greated a ton of infusoria (quick growth so far too). The male actually built the nest against the leaves of the sword that were poking out of the water (i guess the styro cup wasn't good enough for him).
