Plants In Aquarium

Hi guys n gals,

I recently bought about 16 plants online, and had them delivered. Purely because my gouramis love plants But this brought me to another questions, which is this....do you plant the plants your fish like to eat, or the ones they dont ?

I dont mind them eating them, but it makes a mess in the tank, and after a while the plant dies because of it.

So what would you recommend ?

I have spent a fortune trying to find plants that my Severum doesnt eat. I would suggest finding things they dont eat as half eaten plants do look a mess and also can block up your filter.

Hiya - lol its hard though, Out of 8 varietys I ordered, all 8 they eat

Will keep looking then.

i've now discovered that the only plants he wont have a go at are the fake ones - and even then he'll pull them up but at least he cant eat them

Hehe - oh well, ive probably made is worse cos I added 4 dwarf gouramis a few weeks back. Lil buggers

Oh well, at £16 delivered for £20 odd plants, its not that bad.
