What is a good tall low light plant that I could get to put into my 55 gallon tank when I get it set up that's pretty easy to keep. I'll be putting at least one anglefish into the tank and I heard they like plants to hide in.

crypts maybe?
not sure what you looking for though. maybe ermm any stem plant as they will grow until you prune them =]

I think I'm looking for something that looks nice and gets pretty tall however doesn't take much light. I only have experience with java moss, don't have much light output and I'll be using pool filter sand as substrate. I know that java fern and moss are low light plants but I just didn't know if there were any tall plants like that? Weither it's large leaf or not doesn't make much difference.

Cryptocoryne undulata would work. I had 1 in my 29 gallon tank with 2 wpg and it outgrew my tank. Only used flourish excel.
