Hello,

I recently upgraded my planted 10gal to a 20gal and I need some suggestions for new plants. Currently I have Java Ferns, Java Moss (growing on drift wood), some brownish red plants which I believe are crypts, water wisteria and Hornwort (the nasty tall plant I want to replace). I have basic black sand as substrate that I supplement with Flourish Tabs and liquid plant food. I have Marineland's LED Double Bright light system and no CO2.

I need a tall background plant and some sort of a filler to replace the Hornwort. Any Suggestions?

Fish:
3 Kuhli Loaches
2 Yoyo Loaches
6 Cardinals
2 Corydoras
2 White Clouds

vallisneria spiralis is a good back round plant, egeria densa, or cabomba, . hope I helped :good:

If you want something more bushy then wisteria will grow well under pretty much any conditions, with no extra ferts or whatever needed :)

Oof you got that right, my wister will not stop growing...no amount of trimming will ever slow that thing down!
Green cabomba looks a lot like hornwort, so if you want something else, go for maybe some tiger lotus or some straight or corckscrew val...some bunches of that will look very nice
