Plant Problems

hi all have setup my aquarium and have had the water tested and all is ok but the first load of plants i put in tank dropped all there leaves then i had water tested again and was told all was ok again so put in new plants and now they too arte dropping leaves anyone got any ideas whats wrong ?

What were the water test results,
what type of tank and size do you have,
what livestock do you have in there,
what type of plants are we talking about
how long has it been set up?
