hi there! ^^ it's been three days since Pierce-bibble and Shorty moved into their Aquaview+, and they ADORE it. Shorty does happy frog dance everywhere and nibbles at his food much more then he used to, and Pierce has become a puppy dog! i come home from school, he comes out of hiding and puffs up and swims around, barking at me until i feed him. Donny seems to be fine in his tank too; he loves trying to get the Kuhlii from under the shell ~^
in light of this goodness, i've decided to get a third boy-boy. i'm not sure if he'll be another mutt or a pedigreed tail, if he is though he'd definately be and super-Delta as those are the only other tail the breeder my LPS gets them from breeds for. he'd be living in a similar Aquaview+, but with a nice driftwood/plant cave instead of the thick silkees that are living in Pierce's tank. he'd have his own little ADF as well ^^
the only big thing i have to buy before October? heaters. Pierce is living in 76 degree water all day, 72 degree water all night. yeowch. what size heater would i need for each tank? they are one gallon plastic/acrylic tanks in a wedge-shape, and the heater would be located behind a plastic riser tube. good idea, or bad idea?
