Planning A Trip To 'the Deep' In Hull

I've been past 'The Deep' a couple of times on the way to the ferry for a weekend in Amsterdam

Hehe, anyhoo on the way back from one such trip we ventured inside, looked at the prices and changed our minds.

My boyfriend has been before and he didn't think it was that great, but then he's so anti fish (thinks I spend too much time and money on them).

So is he right? Has anyone been? It seems expensive but I don't mind so long as it's a bit more impressive than your general aquarium.
I've been to The Blue Reef in Newquay, it was nice but nothing overly special...so if anyone has been to that then please make comparisons!

I've never been myself, but a few friends and family I know have been and they didn't think it was all that good. They weren't fish keepers, so I guess it would interest you or myself a lot more. I'd like to go myself but don't live in that part of the world anymore, so maybe in a few years. Post back and tell us what it's like, whether it's worth it or not.
