Hello, could someone please help determine if these worms are dangerous or beneficial? I received them in my recent shipment of shrimp. There are little worms and tiny specks like springtails or something?
Also, I believe I have Aqua Huna / Blue Dream Shrimp? side note: Not sure of grading and are there any good sources on culling?

Long skinny worms shaped like an I, are detritus worms that normally live in the substrate and come out when the gravel or water is dirty.

No idea about the spots, need a macro picture or a decent description of them.

The best way to control these things is with big regular water changes and gravel cleaning the substrate. Try doing a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate every day for a week.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.

That shrimp is Blue dream Neocaridina and the one behind it looks like Blue Velvet or Blue Jelly. I can't help with that worms but I believe too many Anything is not beneficial & Bad for the environment of your aquarium
