I was curious about the different species of microorganisms that live in my tank, so I decided to do some research. I figured out that I have hydras, copepods, and planaria. I'm not concerned about the copepods, and I kind of think the hydras are cool, but I'm kind of concerned about the planaria (I am sure they are planaria, they like to hang out on the glass, and they have triangle heads, they're about 3mm) . Online it says they aren't harmful to healthy fish, and I don't plan to do any breeding. Should I go through the trouble of removing them? right now there aren't any fish in my tank, so if I'm gonna remove them I think it should be done now. I don't mind them, and I saw my old betta fish snacking on them a couple of times. how bad are they to have in a tank? (my tanks planted, idk if that's helpful)

If you don't plan on breeding fish in the tank, don't worry about them.

If you do plan on breeding fish, you need to get rid of the planaria, hydra and copepods.
