Planaria in my shrimp tank?

This wouldn't happen to be some other shrimp-friendly flat worm in my shrimp tank would it? Or do I now have a planaria problem and have to get traps?

I saw them first yesterday morning but they were tiny specks. Now they're easily visible and gliding across the glass.

The first picture doesn't open, and the second seems to be a portrait of a falcon. If you have falcons in your tank, you might need more help than I can give you. If it were me, I'd enter them in the Pet of the Month contest, though.

But if they are 'sea hawks', and swim, would one enter in fish of the month or pet of the month or both???

If they're seahawks, enter them in the NFL. They give off too much bioload to be kept in most home tanks.

Ah, that makes a little more sense. I liked the falcon, though.

I've never really dealt with planaria, so I don't know what, if anything, one should do about them. There seem to be a lot of topics about it in the archives, if no one responds to you here. Hope you can get it figured out.

This might help you:

Some are a little more difficult to identify, because their head shape is not as defined as others.
With a cheap pocket microscope like a Carson MicroBrite Plus 60x-120x you can see them really big for 15$. I recommend them, they have pretty good optics for a toy, you can stick them on the glass directly and identify easily your micro fauna.
