Pk Flare, Or Angry Female?

So after speaking with lljdma06 about pk males being sold as females I caught this video of my suspected fish flaring at an older female. Click the image to watch the video, i'm sorry for the chili peppers in the background.



Is that the flare of a PK, or just an angry female?

IMO, male. But what do I know? Kind of reminds me of Pretty's flare. Maybe harder to tell on the lighter males.

I think I may have got my own answer, introduced "shim" to my male, and where before everything was calm they started circling eachother flaring, and then the little guy charged. I fished him out and stuck him in a display floater with the girls until the morning.

And you clearly know more than I. Out of interest does Pretty have a visible ovipositor?

Distinctly possible. It has an egg spot, not that that means much.

It's a very small fish though, it's siblings are atleast 50% larger than it, but it has the longest pectoral fins.

Young male, without a doubt. In the video you can clearing see his beard when flaring. Females do not have that beard.
