Just read this article in the newspaper. He caught it last Thursday. It's not far from where a snakehead fish was caught a month or so ago. Honest, I didn't release either of them. It is illegal to own either of those fish in North Carolina.

Isnt a little cold for them? Also, i dont know how it would of made it, taking down other food by itself.

One of the articles I read said that they could only live in our area in the spring and summer months. They figured it had only been released in the last 2 months as the water would have been too cold through the winter. I'm sure it wouldn't have a problem finding smaller fish and possibly tadpoles and toads to feed on.

I also see that it is now in the news section on Yahoo's homepage (at least for now). My home town has made the big time!!
