Hello,
So I have a Betta and 5 Cardinal Tetras in a 13G tank.
The Cardinals caught whitespot/ich, and I noticed the Betta had torn fins which I am not sure from the Cardinals nipping (highly unlikely), plastic plants, over-flaring or some other reason, and I separated them temporarily and am treating the Cardinals with Protozin, and the Betta with slightly underdosed Myxazin (finrot medication) for good measure, in case the tearing was from fin rot.
Day 2 of Myxazin treatment today, and I noticed pink stripes on the outside of my Betta's gills. Anyone know if this is a side effect of Myxazin, another illness or something I should be worried about? Image below:
Thanks!
