I have a red devil, jack dempsey, convict, pleco and bichir in my tank... they all get along fairly fine with no horrible issues... I added a fish I bought on a whim (bad idea) a columbian pike... last one in the fishstore, listed him as a cichlid, had no clue what variety or any other info about him he doesn't seem aggressive and usually hides during the day, but he isn't being bullied, just his preference... so... any info about these columbian pikes? A google search turned up relatively useless...it's in a 90 gallon.

yes it is! mine is grey and black though... seems to like to hide in the dark part of the cave... he pops out every once in a while to run from the other fish even thought they aren't attacking him, he sees them and runs lol i wonder how big he'll get.

You need to find out what species of Pike it is, (can you post a pic?)
Pikes can get anywhere from 6" to 18" in size dependant on species and some require a larger tank size than you have available.

and tbh the tank is already overcrowded,

What size are all the fish at present?
