Does anyone know where I can get some pigmy cories in the Birmingham area?
I've tried a few places including maidenhead aquatics stores in Earlswood and Stratford, they can order them in but I was hoping to get them this weekend.

Thanks

Prestwood Petzone sell them, a bit out of your way but still within the West Midlands.

When I went to Birmingham (some years ago) I stopped off at Shirley Aquatics and was impressed, might be worth giving them a ring to see if they have them in stock (0121 744 1300)

I called both stores and Prestwood petzone have approx 10 in stock. I'm not sure what pigmys they are but I'm going to have a look tomorrow and hopefully get some.
I'd not heard of Prestwood petzone before and they are not actually that far from me as I live in SW Birmingham anyway. What are they like, do they have a lot of fish there?

Thanks for the help

Dale

Usually a pretty good stock, but like all LFS they have their bad days, they do have a guy there that is good with corydoras though (or they used to, presume hes still there), Ive not bought a bad fish from there that I can remember so you should be ok.

Took a trip to Prestwood this morning and bought some Habrosus Corys and a few bits and bobs for my snake too. I was quite impressed with the place really, looks a but tatty as you go in but they have a pretty large selection in both the aquatic and reptile sections. I'm pretty sure they had all 3 types of pigmy cory. Prices good too, £1.50 each.
Otocinclus catfish £1.80, and I paid £4 each for some from Maidenhead aquatics yesterday :-(

Anyway, the corys are looking very happy in my tank. They seemed to settle in straight away and have been merrily hoovering the sand all day!

Thanks

Dale

That's where I got mine from. I have 9 in my 12 gal. They hang around with my apple snail :D
