Pictus Catfish

Hi,

I bought a couple of Pictus Catfish yesterday.........they are superb!
Can anybody help me with the best way to feed them?
I have noticed when I feed the other mixed fish with flake food they scrounge around the bottom to pick up what is left.
I have also put some cucumber in for them.........is this OK...............i have used a small screw as a weight........is this ok again ?

Any help with suggestions would be appreciated..

They are unlikely to eat the cucumber

They should get enough food from the flake but I use catfish pellets - they sink

bloodworm and catfish pellets is what i use, earthworm pellet's and also bloodworm pellet's go down well, also as you said good scavanger's
there good in a group, i just aqquired four from another member, there brilliant, pics in the picture section if intrested, get some pics of yours
