Here's my crowntail Ryu reacting to the introduction of another male (a mirror)

Here's some pictures taken with the flash on, you can see what his colours really look like in these pictures. Excuse the water colour, it was changed yesterday but my bogwood is STILL making the water browny.

p.s. i think the white tips on his fins seem to be getting bigger so he should look uber cool when he's fully grown

lol yea even after i took the mirror out he kept parading about the tank showing... himself... who's boss lol.

got my amazon sword and java fern in the post today so here's some piccies of him in his now planted tank

he had a bite and a nibble at them at first but now I think he has accepted them lol

well i took a risk the other day and introduced a shoal of 5 blue tetras, they are under an inch long.

they only bother each other, they are absolutely terrified of ryu.

he hasnt tried to attack or eat any yet, he will occasionally swim at them and scare them like he finds it fun lol.

I wasn't sure if he was happy or not with them but this morning I woke up to find this

so I guess he likes having his little buddies to bully
