Well...I finally found my digi cam after being lost in my sock drawer in my dorm room since i moved in with pics i mean to post a LONG time ago. Well...these pics date back to the transformation of my 29 gal in...lets see....late July. I have my Flourite, 65 watt coralife compact Flo and a 20 watt N.O. flo, DIY CO2, Hagen ladder and it actually stays near 30 ppm!! It looks a lot different now, the java ferns and moss are out along with the cabomba. It has been totally redesigned and the Hygro is a growth MONSTER. My swords look pathetic and my Vallis just started to grow vertically instead of just throwing out runners every other day! Oh yeah...and has been an Lagae farm since the day it went up...need to do EI but living in a dorm and the tank being 45 minutes away it's hard to test every day and i cant trust anyone else to do it!!!

hey dood plant looks good. For the substrate you shoulda taken out as much water as possiable.. but i guess it worked out in the end , it looks pretty good. The front plants.. maybe look a little too much arranged, and also a little tall.. but maybe that's just me. Also you might wanna try putting a black background :)

other then that great.

Oh, it looks nothing like that now. The sword is about 1/2 that size, the hygo is on the left side and huge, the dwarf sags are all on the right....on and on and on....

I just need a bigger assortment of plants right now as i only have 5 species in there currently...these pics are OLD. But before I do anything I need to get rid of the damn Algae.

Black background is definately on my list of things to do....now if only i can figure out how to paint the tank with it full....

I just hung a black garbage bag on the back of the tank. works wonders.

Do you have any more current pictures? I'd love to see what you've done with the tank.

I'll have some current pics as of this weekend....it looks nothing like it did then....a lot worse....Anubias is covered in algae, swords need some root tabs, algae is everywhere, oh well...I'll give it a good cleaning this weekend and show y'all!

ALright, updated pics. Took them right when I got home from my dorm room so I could show you in all of it's algae covered glory. I am open for any and all ideas on how to get rid of the algae, I'm going right thru the tank again tomorrow, taking everything out, cleaning the glass, plants and removing as many snail eggs as I can so I'll post some pics tomorrow of how it SHOULD look....I do need a better variety of plants and a black background...I may be able to whip something up for that tomorrow tho.

Ok, cleaned it up today got some new pics. I fabbed up a black background using a black garbage bag...it'll do for now. I know your eye is drawn to the left side but I have a piece of driftwood I'm putting on on the right hand side to help draw your eye away from there and balance it out a little.

My vallis may be covered with algae but it has been sending runners out EVERYWHERE...this is one chain of plants. I had 7 groups like this with at least 4 plants per grouping.
