Pics Of The Bettas

I did a water change on Levi's tank today...and while I had him in the Dip N Pour container, I took a video of him as well as some photos. He's such a pretty boy
I then took Big Red out and did the same thing, then took a few pics of Finneus. It's the best pictures I've been able to get so far lol. I'll get some of their full tanks the next day that there is some good natural lighting coming in from outside. It's been rainy and dreary here the last few days.

An interesting thing I've noticed is that Big Red's tail used to be kind of spade shaped...now it's nice and full, in addition to his size has doubled. Here's when I first got him.

I have alot of pictures of Levi only because his all turned out so well. Finneus didn't want pictures taken, and Big Red moved too fast for my camera lol.

Awsome bettas! Fineus looks just like my Kenji... I love Big Red's colour, its hard to find a red betta with such a intense colour - in my LFs all the red bettas are dull and/or speckled with different colours! Levi's pretty too. Oftin I don't really like blue/red mixed bettas- but Levi's different.... great bettas!

Edit: Just watched your videos- both of your boys look awsome, but there tanks look a little small... our they in breeding traps?

Thanks! All 3 of them are from our local PetSmart. Their bettas are almost always really healthy looking. I got all 3 of these guys shortly after their shipments came in for the week. They take pretty good care of their guys (and gals-I've seen lots of beautiful females too!).
They were in a dip n pour cup while I performed water changes...no way would they live in that! Red and Finneus are both in 2.5 gal tanks, which I think should be the minimum for bettas. Levi will be in a 2.5 eventually, but is in a filtered 1 gal currently. I will be picking up a heater for Red-Fin's already has one- and as soon as I upgrade Levi, he'll get a heater too

Hehe, thanks! I can't believe how much Big Red has grown...He was the size of Levi when I first got him. He was advertised as being a Delta Tail...but his tail has grown alot and filled out..I think it's much prettier now

Is it normal for their tails to fill out like that? Just wondering!
