Been sitting quietly in the background for a while, and I saw someone mention looking for more betta photos. So with little more ado, here is a few of mine (& the GF's) Bettas:
MZ:
Marge:
Buttercup:
Current Tank Setup:
All tanks are in US Measurements. MZ is mine, while Marge and Buttercup belong to the GF, so she manages those tanks and fish. MZ has a teeny 1.5-2gal tank with much planted. Once another tank cycles, he will have a 6.5gal bookshelf tank with a bamboo forest. Marge has a 2.5gal hex tank (I am not a fan of the undergravel filter) with only a couple of live plants. She will soon be upgraded to a 5gal tank, and kept in the bedroom, across the room from MZ. Buttercup has a 5gal tank to himself. He previously had a filter in there with him, but after he kept injuring himself on it, we decided it best to pull it and use it to help cycle some other tanks. If you look closely, you can see his tail has sustained a bit of damage.
Other Bettas (no pics yet):
Caspian, Spaz, Jean-luc, and Pheonix are all in bowls, for the time being. I am considering splitting one of the 10gal we have into 2 seperate 5gal sections, with individual heating and filtration per side. Well, for Spaz and Phoenix, since they are mine. Jean-luc and Caspian we are still deciding what to do with, as she is more hesitant to split a tank.
What I would like to do, is to see about setting up "Betta Condos" with 5gal condos for all the new boys (the ones not pictured), but am lacking in time more then anything. That, and a good set of plans to do it.
