My Baby O is beginning to get extremely irritating LOL, he has a staple food which I offer everyday and he always gets that and something else. I rotate through a lot of things including all the various foods the other fish get (Betta flakes, goldfish flakes, tropical flakes, goldfish crumbles, freeze dried bloodworm, free dried brine shrimp, carnivore bottom feeder pellets etc) as well as bits and pieces of fresh veggies, frozen blood worms and frozen brine shrimp.

But lately hes been getting pickier and pickier refusing pretty much everything except the betta flakes, which I highly doubt are good for him no matter how much he likes them. So whats something I can give him that he will eat?

What size is your O?

My 4-5" oscar will happily eat; Hikari Gold Pellets, Tetra Doromin, TetraPro Veggie Crisps and pretty much any frozen food I throw at him. If he's refusing to eat, I've read that live earthworms are irresistible.

My oscars favourite food is the guppies I Breed Myself. I don't feed them too often though.

Yep, an oscar will always eat a live fish. I myself can't stand to do it - but to each his own.

is he eating?
oscars will eat just let him stave himself so give up the idea
mine was like that but now i feed them about 5 different pellets and flakes...just incase i cant buy 1 perticular brand.....
try giving him some peas maybe hes constapated

Yes, but all hell eat is some color enhancing betta junk food which came with a tank. Should I give him a few days without food? to try and convince him to eat something else?

I do have guppy fry for him but hes only an inch long and the guppy fry are a couple of months old now and look way to big for him.

yes thats what i did....he got hooked on woodlice when they were plenty last fall<sept>wouldnt touch anything else at all  so just tried a small ammount everyday...wouldnt touch it for about 1.5weeks....now what i do is a small ammount of evrything.. :good:
dont feel fear to starve him because when he needs to eat he will

you say the guppy fry is too large for him  how fricking small is he...woodlice are prob bought same size as a guppy minnus finnage -_- and mine was eating these at 0.5inch :hooray:
