Nice, got 6 of these myself, its a shame their colour doesnt really show in pics, much more orange and red in real life, I have a mix of normal in there too for contrast

Yeah i had a group of 9 normal ones, they were very nice fish. I believe they get a bad rep due to people not keeping them in a large enough group which is unfair.

Agree 100%! I've never had any bother any of their tankmates. And the long finned Serpae Tetras would be a tempting target if their false rep were true. Just last week I wanted 6 Zebra Loaches. The LFS only had one. The girl asked me if I wanted the one. I told her they needed to be in a group. She replied "Oh yeah, you're right." Darn LFS would sell a single Tiger and a single Betta together to make a sale.

Massive +1, ive got 12, and i see no trouble whatsoever, I was really suprised. Obviously there is bickering between them, but nothing to any other fish

It's worth it. It's not just black sand. It has shiny bits throughout that sparkle during the day and produce a shimmering effect under moon lighting.

Their reputation is fair in my experience, although the majority of the problems are kept within the group as long as you keep them in large enough groups. Would only keep other fish with them that can handle them selves! Found them at there worst when feeding they are so greedy!! Lovely fish though
