Ph Test Kit

I am looking for an accurate ph test kit where it is easy to distinguish colours.

I have a problem in that I am partially colour blind, and colours that are sometimes the least bit simliar are indistinguishable to me....

I have an API master liquid test kit, which measures differences 0.2, but when it gets down to ph 6.4, 6.6, and 6.8 I struggle to tell the diff

Help would be most appreciated.

Hi chrismr, I have problems at times reading those pH color charts, and I'm not color blind. I think I've tried all the brands of pH test kits and they are all about the same. You might want to invest a little on an electoronic probe pH tester.

Are the electronic readers accurate? And are they expensive?

Is there a difference between the electronic ph meters for soil and what people use in the aquarium?

I don't own an electonic pH reader. I saw one on sale for around $57 on this site. I don't know if the soil pH meter is the same as the aquarum use pH meter.
