Ph Levels For African Cichlids

Some people said I have a 7.2-7.8 ph water level

How much ph do african cichlids require?
A person said I should add some crushed corals to buffer my ph, but I don't know how much ph there should be for the african cichlids.

Please help.

About 7.5-8.4 normally with 8.2 being ideal but a steady ph is preferable to trying to keep it at 8.2, I use Coral sand as a substrate or you could put some in an old pair of tights and then in your filter.
