Next week I am making a holiday in Chişinău and was wondering what kind of pet shops I can find there. Last week I found out that I want to buy several different types of pets. I haven't been the best pet owner in the past, but I'm confident I might be able to get better. I think if I try my hand at owning a variety of animals, then I'll figure out which one I'm best suited to own. I figure Chişinău will offer a lot of species that aren't available here (my country has a lot of laws against owning some animals). I think the cost of animal purchases will probably be pretty low there, too. Does anyone have any experience at buying animals in Chişinău (or any of the other areas in close vicinity to Chişinău)?

Thanks for your reply. Is it true what they say about the reasonable payment plans on equus? I've heard it's pretty much 'anything goes' down there but at the same time safe for foreign investors.

Well now I feel silly. Apparently there are some visa requirements that I don't meet. I've been reading about crossing the border at some points that are often left unguarded (or lightly guarded), but I'm not sure if the trip is worth risking getting in trouble with the Moldavian police. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it is worth the risk. Not sure how easy getting out with the extra packages would be. I figure a lot of people have done it before so I really shouldn't be worrying about it so much.

Yeah, people break the law all the time and get away with it. :shifty: It's always worth the risk isn't it? :shifty: I'm sure a Moldavian prison is great place to be. :shifty: If you don't want to take the risk personally, you could always find a "friend" to carry the packages over for you. :shifty: That's what friends are for right?
