Personalities

all fish have personalities, some more then others. ive found bettas to be the best, always showing off, hopeing to get fed,
i can remember growing up, my dad used to have a oscar in a huge tank, it was very friendly and he would often stroke its side before feeding.

I've found that bettas are big in the personality department too. My betta Eucleides is always pissed at something. He likes to attack the filter, the bubbles blowing out of it and my finger. If I throw a shoe or something across the room, he flares up like he's ready to kill. Look at him funny and he'll flare up, too. He's my little psycho homicidal betta. :D

shadow has a rock in his tank along the side of where pacific is located. he'll swim to where pacific can see him, flare at him until pacific reacts then dart behind the rock where pacific can't see him.

That is just the cutest thing EVER!

My fishies seem to have personalities. I only have danios and 3 gups, but they're full of personality.
My danios used to eat food right off my fingers, but I traumatized the poor things by having to scoop out 2 of them. Now they won't come to the top to eat until I've closed the lid :(
My big danio gal, Bully has a very aggressive (hence the name) and show-offy personality. Whenever I'm trying to get a picture of the fish, she's always the one to be up against the glass swimming back and forth.

My lil finrot danio gal that's currently in the hospital/quarantine tank with the gups is really cute as well. She's pretty shy, but being around the gups for so long, they've made her calm down alot and I'll catch her playing with them.

And those guppies.. I swear they're the most unafraid buggers! Just so adorable. When doing water changes, they'll swim into the cup I'm using to scoop the water out, and when I'm trying to pour them back in, they're trying to stay IN the cup :p They also love playing in the bubbles from the airstone and whenever they see someone coming into the kitchen (where the tank is) they're there watching you to see what you're doing.

Now I've never owned an Oszar, but heard that they're as smart as a dog? So I'm sure they all have amazing personalities :) I was never really an Oscar fan before, but when I heard that, it's making me want one lol.

cant beat dwarf puffers for personalities they watch me more than i watch them and they beg for food lol!

my betta comes to great me when he sees the food tub greedy bugger!

reedfish and peacock eel will eat straight from my hand and sort of wind through my fingers while doing it

and i dont personally have any but people say oscars have the best personality of the lot

My Oscar can differentiate between family members and friends, he also tries to play "fetch" with bright objects, (we'll stand at one end of the tank, show him the toy and throw it, he makes a mad dash for it stopping just short of the glass, and can spot where it lands  ) He also knows that if I'm coming towards the tank with a net, he better run because he's picking on the other O and is going to get a net spanking! (then he reaaallllyyy sulks and pouts! )
