Personal Choice I Know But What Do You Think

Right got my 65l tank nearly cycled
so now got and idea what id like to put in it
i would like a nice varity of plant , so would not mind some advise there

tank dimensions, 24" long 12"wide and 14" high with gravel bottom.
Any way back to the fish

at moment i like the idea of


6 Endlers, to be added first
4 Tiger Barbs, to be added first
4 Platys
4 Khuli loach To Be added last

also things about
4 pygmy corys and
2 bronze cory

but not sure about these

anything bit more interseting or colurful any ideas waht might fit together with above ??

please comment , or critize

would love to know your thoughts

tiger barbs get to big but apart from that its good. but i would get 3 of each cory not 2 of one type and 4 of the other.

tiger barbs are way too active and boisterous.

take a look at microrasbora species also some smaller tetras are amazingly beautiful...ember tetras shoal so tightly, my favourite fish atm.

a tank with 2 or 3 species can look a lot more pleasing compared to one with one of every species

IMO the tiger barbs will get too big as they grow to 7cm and should be in groups of 6+ to aid with their aggression and nipping of other fish.

The platys, endlers and kuhli's will be fine but keep and eye on the platy breeding otherwise you will be over run with fry and i would also up your kuhlie loaches to at least 10that way you will see them as they don't tend to hide when they are in bigger groups ( i have 9 of them and see them all the time).

As for the cories i would stick with either pygmy or bronze rather than a mix. Pygmies should be in groups of 6 or more and bronze 4 or more, but bear in mind that you don't want too many bottom dwellers so if you want kuhlies AND cories be carefull with your numbers (you can also take into account that Pygmy cories have been known to occupy a more mid-level of the tank rather than just the bottom area.

Elodia
Vallis
Java moss
Java fern

Are all very easy to keep with minimum effort and a decent plant fert and average lighting (but i'm no plant expert so do check)

something medium side mid feeder ??
does not have to be hugley pretty just interesting ??

i take it the smaller fish in the tank would happily just carry on life around them?

2 females would proberly be best they dont breed that much in comunity tanks but if they did they would get a bit agressive

ok so heres the plan...
This is to be my stock list
not all at once but building up to

6 Endlers, to be added first
6 Platys

2 honey gourami ( preferably females)

so how does that sound could look quite nice , or is it a bit busy??
got the floor cover by the Khuli ,
3 other shools and the Gourami's swimming freely where every they fancy
