today, i notice one of my peral gouramis behaving strangely.
it would always stay behind that one plant, except when trying to breath air.
it looks like it was struggling to reach the water surface.
it also needs to beath air a lot more frequently than the other peral gouramis.

it also did not eat anything today.

physcial differences i can see when comparing it to the others:
- bloat.
- a lot smaller than the others, even though i bought them all at the same time, and they were breeded within a small time frame.

water:
NH: 0
NO2: 0
NO3: 0 (i have no idea why, i am guess it is the plants that requires trimming every few days)
KH: usually 3~2 degrees (added some baking soda after each water change)
GH: 0
PH: about 7.2~7.4

tank: 60gal, with about 1.5 inch of gravel and lots of plants, filtered with a Fluval 405

other fishes:
-10 angle fish
- 8 grown sword tail and 2 babys
- 7 peral gourami

for now, i have moved it to a 5gal bucket, with about half of it covered in graval so it doesn't need to struggle so much to take a breath of air.
using a HOB filter using some filter element taken from the 405

tap NO3 is also 0
i usually feel it blood worm in the morning, and flake food in th afternoon.

took a look at it just now, it is resting on the graval. but every once a while, it would swim up and breath a little air.
it seem to be able to swim up a little easier now.

looking at the website, i think i did a few things wrong.
4. Toxins: last time, i waited 2 weeks before doing a 20% water change. while the rotten egg smell isn't as bad as when i had 20 fishes in a 20gal tank, it is faintly smellable.

7. Overfeeding/constipation: i think i might have ben overfeeding on flake food.
my feeding practice: 3 or 4 cubes of blood worm in the morning. most of it is eaten by the angles and swords. the gouramis usually can only eat the ones that got washed away from the filter's water outlet.
3 to 4 small pinches of dry food, alraedy broken down into tiny pieces becuase of rough handling of the container can. because of the small size and how it is not stuck in one small piece, the gouramis have their fair share at it
