My female Pelvicachromis pulcher is laying eggs like theres no tomorrow. I persume the male is fertilising the eggs because he enters the coconut shell when she is laying. Problem is theres no sign of babies. Whats wrong?
I know there are eggs because I flashed a light inside the shell to see and the roof is plastered with eegs. Could snails be eating these eggs?

they very well might be eating the eggs; i used to shine a flashlight on mine as birth control (until they moved to an inaccessible laying site).

I imagine you should have had wrigglers by now and it's possible that they simply failed the first attempt or as mentioned ate them. I wouldn't worry too much, they'll have plenty of opportunity to try again. It's possible that snails are finding their way to them, what kind of snails are they?

I have loads of ramshorn snails and a few Pouch Snails. I don't see them as pests unless they are eating eggs  I have just flashed a light in the coconut shell and there are no eggs. The pulchers maybe :X eating the eggs. I have them for three months and I think they bred two or three other times. The female stays in the shell for days during this time so I persume she lays eggs. I never flashed alight into the coconut shell for the first two months as I've been told not too. But after three months of no babies I had to check.
