Pearl Gourami

I bought 2 pearl gouramis a few weeks back thinking they where both females but now when I've had the chance to have a closer look it looks like one maybe a male. Should I buy another female if possible or is a male female pair ok?

might be worth getting another female or two, or at least have more hiding places so the female can chill and not be tormented by the male.
