Peaceful?

Im going to buy a 10 gallon tank, and this is my stocking list:

1 German blue ram cichlid - (female),
5 Cherry barbs - (2 males / 3 females),
2 Schwartz's corydoras,

now my questions are:

1. Are cherry barbs aggressive? iv heard they take over tanks!
2. Am i overstocking with this list?
3. Any other fish suitable for a 10gallon, that are pretty and good in groups? (any other barbs suitable to go with cherrys?)
- Also wondeing about White cloud minnows, i like them but dont know wether they can go in tropical conditions?
- Any other suggestions about the stocking would be appreciated!

i would stick withthe 1 male cherry barb as they get agressive with each other, i have one male at the minute but he is fine with the other fish

They should be OK. All of these fish prefer slightly acidic water (ph below 7.0). The Ram is VERY sensitive to water conditions, so frequent water changes are a must (do not let nitrates go abve 10ppm). If you are worried about the barbs, cardinal tetras are excellent tank mates for rams.

how about:

- 5 Cherry barbs - (1male/4females) (max=2inch)
- 2 Schwartz's corydoras,(max=2inch
- 1 Sparkling gouriami (max=1inch)

ps: i dolike white cloud minnwos, wud they be better suited?
and i touhgt casrdinals were sensitive (i can cycle the tank with cherrys, well thats wat it said in the fish index!)
