Looks like a great thread/idea. That guy did some great work . One sec, now that I've got my USB cable I'll go take pics for ya

Ok here we go, you just cut the brace, leaving tabs of it near the edges, then tack on a piece of acrylic (I used two cause I had scrap that width) and attacch it with nylon screws and you're all set.
