cheers guys, with the amount of algae in the tank you wouldnt believe it has a tmc vectron uv filter and an additional 9w uv filter in the external filter!

Algae is an innevitable part of fish keeping i'm afraid. If there is any slight traces of ammonia/nitite in your tank and light (especially sunlight) then this will cause algae.

smaller female is about 5inch and the male is about 6 inch not measured them properly yet

The eggs got eaten but im not to down about it as i know i have a pair theyre still protecting the area it laid the eggs for some reason .
