i have these horrid little white parasites in my tank. they have been there now for atleast 3 months. been doing water change once a week ,tryed using liquisil to get rid but to no avail.they cling to the tank somtimes making it hard to see the fish, any ideas of what these are and how to nuke them would be appreciated

Is it possible for you to post a pic... are they around 0.3 - 0.7 cm long, are they white... need to know more information...

i would think they are probably either hydra, nematodes or planeria. if they are stuck to the side of the tank glass and have got little wavy arm's they are hydra, if they are little snake like worms they are nematodes and if they are more or less straight on the glass and don't swim much planeria. i would give you gravel a really good clean (vac) and feed less

thanks thegnu seems that it is planeria.seem to get the same answer wherever i ask, should i clean the gravel daily? and how much water should i change? 60 gallon by the way.

took this picture this morning, i only cleaned the glass last night. and done a gravel vacum and 20% water change, and am only going to feed my fish once a day. hopefully might see some improvment. seems abit drastic to empty the whole tank and boil wash the substrate. so will do above daily ,and see what happens ,thanks for everyones input.
