Do I have to remove the filter cardrige and biofilter if I have to treat my fish against parasites? If yes, for how long? I have the "Jungle Parasite Clear" treatment. Should I do a second dose after 48 hours?

No you don't have to remove your filter media to use those IIRC. It's best to follow the directions on the package.

The only type of filter cartridge that needs to be removed during treatment is carbon. Carbon is a black granulated substance that absorbs chemicals from the water. If you have carbon in the filter then it needs to come out before you treat the tank. Throw the old carbon away and don't put any more in the tank until you have finished treatment and the fish are well.

Yes, my filter has carbon. I will remove that and just leave the biofilter in then. Thanks.
