That sounds like it could be useful. My 15G is pretty overrun with fry right now, so may I could use a pool or big tote as a grow-out "tank"?

Sometimes I think about setting up our pool to hold my plec in it for the summer. Sounds like hard work though. Don't think I would have the patience for all the maintenance.

It works perfectly. Outdoors, I've got them in this pool, tubs and tanks.
