I have a 56 Litre tank with...
3 Tiger barbs,
2 Green Tiger barbs,
1 Dwarf Rainbow,
2 Julii Corydoras,
5 Kuhli Loaches.

Today, the airation part of my Interpet PF1 filter stopped working. I've tried cleaning it and it won't work, but there is still full water flow.
Do I need to have some kind of oxygenation going on in my tank?

Thanks.

Circulating is oxygenating,
As long as your filter is running and you have visible surface current then you are oxygenating the water

I can see ripples in the water, but no bubbles or foam, is this ok?

Oh yeah, and it's unplanted, so no oxygen coming from plants.

bubbles don't create oxygen , its the movement they produce when they hit the surface that creates the oxygen,

if you can see the water moving when you look in from the top then your fine,
(as opposed to the surface looking still or stagnent)

Ok cool, if I see any of them gasping I guess I'll have to look for an airation solution.

Thanks :)
