I was wondering how many people (if any) had experience with either of the two solutions...
1) http/www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280766047570?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649#ht_4649wt_1270
It has 3x 14w T5 bulbs, which over a 64l aquarium, gives about 2.6w per gallon (if my math is correct). One of my concerns was that it wasn't a proper brand ancd I am unsure on what the quality of the item will be like, ie if it's a flimsy brackets etc. Also are the bulbs easy to replace?
2) http/www.allpondsolutions.co.uk/aquarium-1/aquarium-lighting/aquarium-t5-lighting/silver-t5-fish-tank-lights-two-bulbs.html
All Pond Solutions is a fairly reputable company and are supposed to have good customer service (from what I've heard), but the unit is £20 more expensive and only has two bulbs, but they are 24w each as opposed to 3x 14w.
Basically I would like to know which one would be the more worthier long term investment as it would be going on top of a planted aquarium.
