I have had my tank running for a 4months now and just wondering if im overstocked, i have a juwel 180 ltr but will be upgrading in the next 6 months to a juwel 450. i have at the moment 2 dwarf guramis, 2 bala shark, 3 danios, 2 pearl danios, 1 rasbora 2 large mollies and 1 baby2 guppies, 1 rainbow shark, 2 clown loaches, 2 bristlenose plec and 1 golden nugget plec. Wanted to know if these will be okay for a while in this tank.

As long as the filter is up to the job (assuming you are using something decent not the internal one that comes with the tank) yes they will be fine for a litte while. You will need to look at rehoming some if you dont get a larger tank. Also though you really need to look at your fish prior to buying.

Clown Loaches, Bala Sharks all get 12-14inch +, you then have the 2 crapping machines (Bristle nose plecs) and the Gold Nugget.....id be keeping a close eye on water stats ;)

hi thanks for reply, dunno why it sent double post! new to forums. im still using juwel filter, what do you suggest i use, im pretty new to fish keeping ,although i have 3 tanks on the go. the juwel, a small one for naughty fish and a small one for my betta.

sorry to say but you need to rehome those balas and clown loaches, and FAST! balas get quite large as do clown loaches as stated by dark, minimum home for 3 balas should be like 90gallons so 2 need atleast 75gallons, not sure how many liters but I'm pretty sure it's more than 180... but 450L is like 100-110 gallons so that'd be nice for them :D get that tank ASAP for your fishes sake and health! Also you may want to boost that temp to the low 80's (may cause a bit more algea) to avoid Ick for your clown loaches, they're sensitive to the cure as they have no scales... Just a suggestion though you don't need to follow it :p
