Silver tailed
Put a nob of butter into a pan, fillet 100 Mollies (time consuming), marinate in lemon, salt and pepper and then fry until flakey, then put them in a cob and enjoy!
Swordtails taste a little better and you tend to get more flesh off them, so consider breeding them in the future

Not sure why this is cruel. People eat fish all the time. I'm going to kill them humanely. Local stores are worried about disease and won't take them, better than just killing them for nothing.
Local fish stores would QT the fish, we're not as stupid as you'd like to think. Run along now, hopefully in traffic.............
