Netty the CT is practically conditioned, i went through the motions to make sure she was a she so you wont have to condition as long as normal...Wooo

Big red looks happy in his new home

A betta that is 2" is a half giant, 2.5" plus is a giant. I have some 3.5" bigboys at home and they are chunky monkeys

Netty i saw on ibbles thread that you was undecided about the CT's sex, i'm pretty sure that she is a she due to egging and baring up BUT if i am proved wrong i will refund you the cost and pay to have it sent back. I'm not one for letting people have fish they didn't ask for.

The gold girl you have was also part of a pair and he was stunning too, almost pearl like in the light

Thanks Shell......she is defo very eggy.....it just threw me when she started flaring at anything that moved lol As soon as Andy has finished tweaking with the spawning tank, they'll both be put in and hopefully will get some stunning babies

Sexing them is a nightmare at the moment. It seems like some of the females that are coming through now have incredibly long fins making it near on impossible to sex them visually

more seem to be developing a female "beard" too, it makes it near on impossible with some

Yep and when you look back at older articles they describe them as being very short finned and dull in colour.....we'll that's certainly not the case anymore!!!!
