Maybe try to get your hands on a breeding pair if you can usae the smaller tank to grow 15 or 20 pf them to mayve 3"-4" and sell to the lfs ??? If not 120 gallonms will support 2 oscars for their entire life ....

yeah i was goint to buy about 8 of them and just keep a pair.
i want to get red ones but so far ive only seen red tiger or albino.
i rang up a few lfs(and some not so local) and the best price so far is $450 for a setup, so im getting closer to convincing my parents
