Would be in a 75g tank. Oscar is about 3.5 inches long. Tank has Oscar, plec, weather loach and one crayfish.

It's a very bad idea, IMO. The ABF will attract the oscars attention up at the top, and will undoubtedly become a meal as soon as the O is big enough. I don't know how fast the weather loaches grow, but if the O grows significanly faster then it, he is at risk too. Crayfish are a popular food for O's among hobbiests.

The weather loach is about 6 inches long so he is safe for now.

The crayfish?? We will see. He has been doing well for that last 2 months. The oscar occasionally tries to pick on him but the crayfish does not back down. Several times the oscar has come away the loser in these skirmishes. He has got his fins ripped by the crayfish in the past. I keep him because he loves to eat the oscars poop!! When the oscar is pooping, the crayfish chases after him with his arms out like he can't wait for it!!! Keeps the tank very clean!!

Freddy was right. All of those fish will become snacks for your O. The Butterfly fish doesn't grow large at all, and wont stand a chance against a juvie or adult Oscar. I'd say your tank will be fine for a couple months, depending on how fast that loach is, and after that, fish will start dissapearing.

the weather loach maxes out at 6" long, once your O gets to full size, think of that loach as a piece of spaghetti :p
