Oscar Tankmates

Would an oscar be able to have any tank mates in a 4 foot by 2 foot by 18 inch tank, also, what decor do you recommend?

that must work to around 90 gallons right?

if so, we have 4 clown loaches and a senegal bichir in it. they all swim happily

If you really want to see Oscars at their best then the best tankmate is a mate. Clownloaches, large catfish, or large shoaling fish like silver dollars are all worth consideration. Oscars are really whimpy compared to other cichlids and I don't recommend going with other cichlid species.
