Oscar Or Clown Loaches - Which One Is More Interesting To Watch?

I prefer clowns, although Oscars would be my second after that. I just like the different
characters that Clowns have in a big group.

With a tank that big, I agree with the others and get both. I have two clowns in a 75gl and they are just wonderful. I have had an oscar in the past. Got too big for the 75gl and had to trade, but he was fun in that you could hand feed him scraps from the kitchen table. I know - not the right thing, but down right fun!

Oh really, both?!
I considered it first but then some people told my tank was too small even for a proper loach group, not to mention Oscar.
But if I take them both - I mean 6 clowns and one oscar - don't you think the oscar get's bored there? Abd what kind of filtration do you suggest (I think my current 1200ltr/h (300 g/h) will be too weak .Yes,my tank is empty, only plants, and newly set up by pet store guys. I've been cycling it for couple of weeks.

My cousin has clowns and he reckons they are so entertaining, they lie on each other to go to sleep and play all the time.

Not TRYING to hijack, but how long does it take for like 3-4 inches clowns to get full grown?

From what I've read from people who have loaches, they grow very fast the first year and then slow down considerably... *shrugs* how long it takes them to get to their adult size, I'm not sure.

Oscars and plants do not match they will uproot and rearrange everything.

Always remember Clowns can be a big commitment. Oscars can live for quite long, but Clowns can livefor years, some have been recorded to live to over fifty. They could outlive you!
