A staple diet of chiclid pellets is a most. It needs to be fed the pellets at every feeding. You can also try a variety of fozen and live foods. If your a pennysaver you can go into your garden and dig up some worms and it will gobble those down.

I buy my earthworms & find that it is their favourite.... Also eats peeled prawns & other stuff, but simply devours earthworms....
